Photojournalism
A few samples of my documentary photography for non-profit and university clients:
Habitat Restoration, Rivers and Lands Conservancy
Rivers and Lands Conservancy holds a conservation easement on a property in Fontana, in San Bernardino County. The same habitat continues past the county line onto neighboring land, and once a year organizations from both counties come together to do restoration work across it.
The species they're restoring it for is the Delhi Sands Flower-Loving Fly, the same endangered fly in the video posted on my portfolio page, though these images above feature a different part of its habitat.
The work runs in two directions at once. Where the dunes have grown over, they remove certain vegetation, because the fly needs open sand. They collect California buckwheat seeds to bring plants back to parcels of land that have too little vegetation.
I was invited to document this event on October 25, 2025.
The Organic Intellectuals Podcast, CRT Collective
A podcast recording held at UCLA on March 17, 2026, in collaboration with the Center for Critical Race Studies in Education. The session ran as a hybrid event, with remote participants joining by video conference and recorded alongside the people in the room.
I was there to document the session.
